Quarantined with HOUSE OF BALLS
Well it’s been safe to say we’ve all been affected by this quarantine.
I’ve currently been writing ideas and revising scripts I’ve wanted to work on for some time now. My dreams have been filled with scenes for stories I have yet to figure out. But they’re no longer filled with blood and guts, and the illustrious mutations of bodies like THE OUTSIDER.
I’m safe. Here in my parents house in the Bay Area. It’s quiet here in the suburbs. The closest book is “You Are A Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life” by Jen Sincero that’s helped me urge my sadness into hope. Almost 100 pages in after a month. After painfully dealing with a break up during quarantine, I’ve finally taken the advice of several instagram and social media gurus and surrounded myself with positive energy. Just like HOUSE OF BALLS was inspired, I’m finding creativity through the breakthrough.
So far HOUSE OF BALLS has won, been nominated and honorably mentioned. The poster alone shows how far our little short as come. Here are our standings:
