“Re-Imagine Justice” Exhibition Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the LA Riots

My short film “Between Black and Blue”, starring Woody McClain (New Edition Story, Training Day) is being featured amongst 30 other artists for the opening of the interactive art exhibit “Re-Imagine Justice.“  The exhibit focuses on art pieces with the theme of celebrating and highlighting the 25th Anniversary of the LA riots.  It will be playing, on loop, at the exhibition every day until April 29th. Here are the times the exhibition will be open:

April 2-29, 2017

Monday – Thursdays, 2:00 – 9:00pm

Friday – Sunday, 2:00 – 7:00pm

2) Thursday, 4/27 from 5-6pm there will be a press ‘meet-and-greet’ with all the Re-Imagine Justice Artists and Partners. Please RSVP if you can attend. Following the meet-and-greet there will be a panel discussion entitled, “The Beauty of South LA” starting at 6:00pm. For more information on the panel discussion visit CoCo’s Facebook page

3) Saturday, 4/29 come to Future Fest - a march, rally, and community festival:

Rally Point: 10 am @ Florence & Normandie
March Route: 12 pm @ Florence & Normandie to 81st & Vermont
Future Fest: 1 pm – 5 pm @ 81st & Vermont (in front of Community Coalition)

This will be the final day of the Re-Imagine Justice Exhibit, bring your friends and family out to enjoy this community festival! See graphic attached
